This training may be eligible for TechCred funding. To find out more about TechCred and the eligibility/application process, please visit techcred.ohio.gov.

TechCred Helpful Information:

TechCred Program Guidelines - https://techcred.ohio.gov/about/program-guidelines

  • To receive reimbursement, the employer must be able to verify that credential earners are Ohio residents with a verifiable Ohio address. Individuals must be W-2 employees at the time of the reimbursement request; independent contractors or 1099 employees are not eligible for this program.
  • TechCred will fund up to $2,000 per credential and $30,000 per funding round per organization, so you can apply for multiple employees to attend the same training program in the same application.
  • Nonprofits will have to apply for the Ohio TechCred grant on their own. Sinclair has FAQ documents and information about what you will need to start the application.
  • TechCred is a reimbursement program, so participants will have to pay the registration fee and then submit the needed information after training to be reimbursed.
  • If a nonprofit has more than 5 FTEs that are interested in the training (up to 10), it is possible to get a dedicated training program.

Salesforce for Non-Profits Helpful Information:

  • Salesforce has a set of eligibility requirements available at: https://www.salesforce.com/content/dam/web/en_us/www/documents/company/p10-eligibility-guidelines-English-2023.pdf
  • We can assist you with submitting your license/support request to Salesforce and the ultimate decision whether or not to grant the licenses/support is solely at the discretion of Salesforce
  • You can submit your license request at the same time as you submit your Ohio TechCred Grant request so you should know prior to registering for the training whether you will receive the free licenses/support.
  • Excluded Nonprofits: Hospitals, Academic Medical Centers, Health insurance organizations, Group or individual health practices, Inpatient care facilities, Economic Development organizations
  • Your Nonprofit has to have a unique EIN that is not being used by anyone else that is already receiving the Salesforce licenses.
For example, if you are a local affiliate of a national organization and you use the  national organization EIN, you may not be eligible for the grant if another affiliate or the national organization already claimed it.
