• In this course, you will cover: initiating a project, defining the project scope, developing a schedule and cost performance baselines for a project, planning project quality, staffing and communications, analyzing project risks, defining project procurement requirements, executing the project, controlling the project & closing the project. This course is designed for experienced project managers who desire to increase management skills and apply a standards-based approach to project management.

  • This course is designed for persons in a variety of job roles who currently contribute to project teams in various ways, including providing subject matter expertise (e.g., marketing, finance, customer care, processing, fulfillment) and serving as project team sponsors, facilitators, liaisons, or coordinators, but who do not function as project managers and who have little or no formal exposure to or training in standardized project management terminology and processes.

  • Project+ Certification prepares students for the current CompTIA Project+ Certification exam. It covers the full range of skills and concepts students need to know to plan and implement projects. The project initiation and planning process is covered in-depth, culminating in the creation of a project schedule. Learning how to manage business concerns such as cost and risk is balanced by thorough coverage of best practices in managing people and resources. Students will also learn how to manage change and the steps necessary in closing a project.
