The purpose of this course is to build on the knowledge you have gained and provide you the basic skills you need to successfully design and print a 3D object in the Sinclair lab. As you progress through the course modules, lessons and activities you will review information about the different printers that are available to you in the Lab to print the 3D object you are to create prior to your scheduled lab time. You may use SolidWorks 3D CAD design software (available at Sinclair) or similar 3D design software of your choice. Prior to creating your object, you should obtain Instructor approval to ensure that it’s suitable for use with the printers at Sinclair.
