Geospatial Information for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) introduces how UAS can be used to obtain geospatial data and information, with an emphasis on how the field of geomatics provides the necessary theory and tools for success. The course explores the links between geodesy, surveying, photogrammetry, remote sensing, cartography and geographic information science (GIS) and demonstrates how these disciplines connect to UAS operations.
